Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
Very good graduate role, was involved in real projects and making a real impact. Company culture is very positive and lot's of support from the early careers functions. JLR invest in their graduates with a lot of professional skills development courses and opportunities. The pay was also very competitive.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
On my time on the graduate scheme my responsibilities varied, as I undertook placements and rotations in different teams, but the main responsibilities were to support lead engineers in delivering real engineering projects. I really enjoyed the ability to work in different functions of the business through rotations.

When I joined JLR was in the midst of a cultural transformation with its people at the centre, so honesty, integrity and unity were exemplified by most colleagues in all our interactions.

It is a good place to kickstart your career, you are very well supported by early careers, pay is competitive and the work life balance is good.

The recruitment process has a lot of tasks to complete, the quality of your output on these tasks is part of the assessment so take them all seriously as they all matter and contribute to you chances of getting a role.
