Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
I think JLR as a company look after there employees. Different departments of JLR have different approaches to the grad scheme. I think in manufacturing there is a lack of awareness of the concept of placements. However if you push for what you want they are supportive.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Responsible for delivering a sub assembly cell attaching fixings to the car’s body side. Completed a placement looking at critical minerals in the raw materials finance team.

Overall it has been a good experience, there is plenty of opportunity to grow. I think you get out what you put in and you have to craft your own path to get the best out of the scheme.
