Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
Overall, it has been a positive experience. There isn't necessarily a set role you would have when joining a team, so you could be floating about if they dont have a project available. However, there are a lot of learning opportunities and the work environment is very inviting and collaborative so if you want to get stuck in, you have to be brave and driven.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I think the multiple levels of stakeholder interactions, from senior management to operators on the line, the ability to be able to talk to a whole host of people and personality has allow me to develop in my communication style and adaptability which are really transferable skills in many different industries.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Often there isn't much work so you would be floating, and the project you are given usually are backlog activities that dont have any direct impact - however, if you chase for work, you will get more involved.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Great WLB, and overtime available often depending on the teams.

Not really developing a lot of technical ability

Great, people are always willing to help.

Great, always finish on time - unless i have to get certain projects done, however managers will often let you get catch back for OT hours.
