So my job role multi trade apprentice involved me learning all different skills and getting a basics on many trades.
I have improved a lot throughout the apprenticeship as I have now passed it with a distinction.

As I was new to the industry I have learned and developed many skills over my apprenticeship,

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think the structure of clarion is spot on as in my apprenticeship I was given a lot of support from line managers, apprenticeship officers having monlthy 1-2-1’s to see how I was getting on and if I needed anything from them.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a lot of support from my employer such as quarterly catch ups asking about my progression. Unwrapped apprentice events, these would be to meet and network with different job roles through clarion and to also allow team building. The apprenticeship development officers would deal with any concerns I had and were fantastic.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received a high amount of support throughout my apprenticeship such as,
Always helped me out if I was struggling.
My colleague tutor was always pointing me in the right direction.
Any questions would get answered if help was needed.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel as tho the skills I have learnt in my apprenticeship apply strongley towards my performance in my roll such as, I had little to no plumbing experience and now have been given a 4 year plumbing and heating course as I have passed my initial apprenticeship.
And as I now have my property maintenance qualification it has been an increase in my knowledge and also made me feel more confident in what I am doing.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are many different events that Clarion do that I am involved in these being unwrapped event for apprentices getting together to team building and network.
Roadshows, organised get together every year to understand what clarion have done over the years and to also network with different job roles.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Clarion Housing Group?
The advice I would give to others applying would be to always be ready to make mistakes as mistakes are the best way to learn, and always have a positive mindset going into the apprenticeship.
