Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Mott MacDonald?
Mott MacDonald has been a great place to work. The people are so friendly, and genuinely look out for your development. There are a number of social and professional events that take place. The work the company gets is from high profile clients and is very interesting to work on. The benefits are also pretty good, salary could be better, but is fairly competitive for consultancies. The are also a lot of opportunities if you take them, working abroad, moving within the business etc. There is also a good amount of young employees which is nice when coming in as a graduate.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My main responsibilities are working on documents and working towards the design of water treatment upgrade projects. This can include working on health and safety documents, civil designs, working with other disciplines (mechanical, process, electrical teams). I enjoy the most working on civil designs, such as drawings and calculations, as well as working with the other disciplines to make sure our designs work well.
