Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Daily, weekly and monthly reports. Data analysis of large portfolios. Evaluating the state of the economy and factors that may affect customers' ability to pay. Ad-hoc analysis tasks for the head of the department.

A handover period with the undergraduate I was replacing as well as support from my team (manager and analyst) throughout the year whenever I needed it.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I very much enjoyed my placement and I have learnt a lot. I was given a lot of responsibility and challenges as well as the opportunity to start my own projects. VWFS provided a great placement year.
