Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Often, you will work at a client's site, testing key sections of a clients financial accounts. You will work within a small team, approaching the audit together. You will ensure all their accounts are aligned with financial legislation, and no errors are included.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, you often worked independently, working with senior members of the client team. This allowed you to feel a sense of responsibility and develop your skills further.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
There was a good support network, and you always had a clear route of who to contact if you needed support on any areas. As you often worked in a team on a client site, you would be able to ask questions easily to more senior members at the table.

What advice would you give to others applying to RSM
The job requires a lot of travel and provides a lot of responsibility which you will need to be prepared for. However, it creates great opportunities, if you are applying, the most important part is to be confident and act like yourself.
