Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Assisting the more experienced members of the team. Completely different procedures during planning, through understanding the company and its controls, during exectution, which is the main testing during an audit, and completion, which is checking the accounts which are essentially what is audited and published onto companies house.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I definitely was and this allowed me to grow a lot.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learnt a lot on my placement. I feel like my accounting knowledge has accelerated anything learnt in uni as I have used my knowledge on a day to day basis during my work. As well as this, the best skills I have developed are my project management and employability skills, which include speaking to clients, working as part of a team, communication and teaching deadlines.
