Managing all press office functionalities, including drafting and distributing press releases, establishing pre-screening rooms and managing virtual interviews across all new priority programming on SVOD platform Hayu and our EMEA Networks Linear Channels. Support closely with the launch of new programming, working directly to talent manage cast and amplify profiles.

The internship/placement role operates as a rolling Junior Exec role. You are responsible for managing a huge workload, and are offered a lot of independance in progressing and managing tasks.

Attention to detail in this position is an absolute must, and something I have hugely strengthened across my time here. Time-management and ability to pivot have also been benefitted throughout my time here.

My line-manager was a huge support - and the early careers team at NBCU are extraordinary. They operate one of the best social placement schemes in the UK - and offer countless opportunities to connect throughout the year.

The company culture is that of amazing collaboration and light-heartedness. The intern scheme is well connected through all angles of the business, and everyone feels very approachable.

It was an incredibly steep learning curve in terms of workload. There were very late nights, and early mornings - but all has been incredible experience to carry forward in my future career.
