Completed entry level tasks to get a flavour for the role, shadowed experienced employees, attended client meetings with senior management, research projects, presentations to senior management.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

None to begin with, carried out a limited amount of client work, but never given too much. Inexperience was expected and there was freedom to make mistakes and answer questions.

Loads of support, everyone in office was patient and happy to help when required. Particularly enjoyed the accessibility of senior management.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Generally really good, not a massive amount of social events however, everyone happy to go home after work. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Drinking culture not a thing like it often is in London.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Enjoyed pretty much all of it, training content was monotonous at times, but overall really valuable experience if you want to go into finance based consulting.
