Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Mostly preparing tax computations (in effect a modified spreadsheet to show how much tax a company has to pay), but also social events, internal calls and smaller, miscellaneous projects
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes- I was left alone to do the computations generally without supervisions. This was real client work which was chargeable

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I did enjoy the internship overall, it's been a good way to structure my summer and give it some meaning. I think it could have benefitted from a more social atmosphere and other interns in the office

What advice would you give to others applying to RSM
When you get accepted to the interview/AC stage, remember to smile and make conversation with the interviewer. Culture fit is very important. Also think of some examples of projects, feedback, challenges etc. to use prior to the interview for STAR questions
