To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My program is very rewarding, I am given space to grow and the support to fall back on should I require it. I am guided in a way that suits my learning style. My colleagues are excellent to work with.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

From the start of my apprenticeship I have been allocated work that is befitting my level of knowledge in that area. Whilst it is difficult to align this with my university course, the training regime of my employer works well in giving me a foundational understanding of the topics for my course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Should I have insufficient understanding I have the entire software engineering team at my disposal. There is an understanding between us all that no question should go unasked and will go unanswered. The team is incredibly patient and I am continuously grateful for their support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Whilst I have deadlines at my workplace for projects I am working on, I am allocated a day for my university studies and during times of increased pressure from my studies I need only ask for more study time.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My course aligns very well with the role I perform at Promtek, my courses focus on more abstract concepts in programming, such as efficiency and principles pairs well with the in-house software we use.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My workplace regularly attends conventions relative to their industry. This is a good way to engage with other aspects of the industry. We are also participating in a sponsored walk and have a BBQ planned in the coming months.

Why?
Promtek is extremely supportive in the development of my skills and very understanding of the position myself and the other apprentices come from. As best as it can be, our training is tailored to ourselves and at no point have I felt like there was no one to ask if I was confused.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Promtek?
Promtek celebrates the varied backgrounds of it's employees. Those who haven't been here for decades tend to be young apprentices or rich backgrounds in various industries. My advice would to be detailed about previous experiences as Promtek's recruitment process responds well to this.
