Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Resposible for the staff development coaching within the Trust including career and performance coaching, development and interview coaching, and setting SMART Targets on a 1-2-1 and group basis.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the programme especially the group workshope sessions where the group could share best practice and receive support. It gave the opportunity to network with students from differing areas and discuss neawly learnt coaching skills and being awarded the student of the month!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed new skills around coaching, as I come from and advice and guidance back ground I felt the new skills were around providing an environment for the coachee to fully reach their aims by use of differing methodologies learnt.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was structured in a way that I attended a workshop, followed by a 1-2-1 session where I would be given the portfolio task and assignments. This arrangement allowed me to keep on task with the planned programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received support from the apprenticeship co-ordinator and my line manager, both were supportive and guided me through the programme charting my progression and allowing me study time.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Supportive by providing 1-2-1 session and additional learning resource along with additional tutorial session to help clarify underpinning knowledge.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification validates my skills and training that I received working within the Trust. In addition to this the coachees feel confident in the provision being offered by myself.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Within the Trust their are additional activities to get involved in alonng with differing support groups.
