Business Administration, including system operations, learner and employer communication, invigilation and additional learning support. I streamline processes and find and fix issues within the delivery department.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my role at Althaus and have enjoyed coming into work every, especially due to the culture and people at the company. It has completely erased my work anxiety from previous jobs.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned a vast amount during my time at Althaus, both in my work skills and ethic, as well as a massive boost in confidence as well, becoming more certain of myself and what I can do.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship work at Althaus has been very good, and for the most part very well laid out, though at times a little hectic as I can sometimes bite off more than I can chew. The training provider I had was lacking however.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Althaus is incredibly supportive and encouraging. I have never struggled to ask for help if need, and they are always very responsive in teaching additional skills and balancing workload. They have been supportive since day one and have not stopped.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They have been very supportive and want me to achieve whichever goals and qualifications I'm aiming for. They have encouraged me to let them know if I ever want to achieve another qualification later down the line.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Unfortunately my experience with LMP was very poor from the get go. From not having an assigned Skills Coach for the first nearly two months, to lack of communication and lack of direct hands on teaching, I felt as though I had to self teach myself often.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We often have team building events, ranging from scavenger hunts, to rounders days, or events for networking. They are very active in building a positive work environment which can immediately be felt when you step through the door.

Why?
My time at Althaus has drastically improved my life, from skills and confidence gained, to work life balance. I get along with everyone at the office and have built good relationships. In my opinion it is the golden standard that an apprentice could hope for, and am extremely grateful and proud to be a part of it.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Althaus Digital?
If you are kind, honest and show that you are eager to get stuck in, you'll fit right in. They value individuality, and know that everyone has something different to offer, so be yourself, because everyone else will be too!
