Temporary Traffic Management Designer Review

On a day-to-day basis, I complete temporary traffic management drawings for various different clients. These design drawings are used by operatives on the road to put out signs and cones in order to direct traffic around round works. I also complete various other tasks such as company documents.

Although I was the first apprentice, the program was all ready really well prepared for, I could tell a lot of work had gone in behind the scenes from management to ensure this, and the organisation and structure has only improved for me and the apprentices following me.

The support from my employer has been incredible, I received so much support in regards to ensure college work is completed to the best standard it could be (in works time), I have been given the opportunity to go on various training course to help with my day-to-day job as well as college modules and even my personal life.

I received a good amount of support from my training provider in all my modules as well as support regarding my off the job hours and ensuring that we as a company were doing things the correct well. The communication between the college and my employer has been really good and helped me throughout my apprenticeship.

All though not directly linked to my role, during the completion of my qualification, I leant a lot of industry related knowledge that helped me better understand our clients roles and enable me to build a better relationship with, understanding their requirements whilst maintaining high health and safety requirements.
