Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

on a day to day basis i complete live drawings for clients of my company, i am currently situated on streetworks. which means i design multi way traffic light systems also road closures and diversions. i make use of the support system around me and have my drawings checked by a professional. gaining valuable knowledge on the job.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i highly enjoy my programme, i enjoy that i was placed onto actual live work and learnt by doing the job itself, i find that very valuable

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt more about cad design, learnt a whole new software in which i use to draw my projects within as well as office related behaviour skills and traffic management knowledge.

very well, management are always available to me at different levels and the representative of the programme will work with us to achieve higher and higher results

high level, we are given four hours a week ontop of our day at college to work on our college qualifications

my qualification is only helpful to an extent, it does not progress my ability in my job other than understand how the roads are made
