Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I design temporary traffic management for various companies like kier. I use BricsCAD and OS mapping to design the layout of roadworks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy it quite well. Some parts I enjoy and some parts I don't.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Learnt very good team work skills and technical knowledge with CAD software as well as TM design.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Well organised, little to no confusion of what is happening and we are urged to attend things like webinars which educate us on what we will have to do by the end of the apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive all the support I could ask for should I need it
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
The training provider side has less support especially as there is more people involved.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
Not much at all. There are no college courses in what I do as it is quite a niche industry, therefore what I do at college does not impact what I do at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes there is a big emphasis on welfare at work and there is often extra things to do inside as well as outside of work should you want to.
