Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I spend most of my time working on site with tradesmen getting on the job learning and experience. We work in various jobs, prepping and painting ceilings, walls and woodwork to the specification we're given. About to enter my fourth year, I go to college every few months to complete units and theory work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I greatly enjoy my experience working with the Bell college and have only nice things to say about the team

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned lots of new skills specific to my job as a painter, but mostly have built on existing skills from planning to communication. A lot of my job involves using time efficiently and working as a team with other painters to get a job done well.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well structured, I have a booklet that details everything I need to do to complete my apprenticeship, we have access to our portfolios and what still needs to be completed and we know when we're going to college and what we'll be doing when we're there
