Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
The apprenticeship also helped me develop key skills in problem-solving and decision-making, which I use regularly when analysing procurement data or negotiating with suppliers. Additionally, the knowledge I gained in project management and time management has enabled me to handle multiple tasks and deadlines more effectively.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I’d also recommend researching the company’s values and culture before applying. Group 1 places a high value on professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset, so demonstrating how you align with these values can set you apart. Lastly, just be yourself! Be honest and transparent during the application process. The company values authenticity and wants to see the real you, so there’s no need to overthink it. Show up as you are, and be confident in the skills and experiences you bring.
