Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Dealing with retail customers face-to-face, on the phone and emails. stock control of the parts department, dealing with technician and the problems they have identifying the part that they need. helping out trade customers with their enquiries. Pre-picking parts for cars due the next day. maintaining the display cabinets in our showroom and on the parts department front counter.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the people I work with, I feel like it's a good team to work in. I find that some of the problems we face day-to-day are exciting to face as I like the challenge.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Coming into my apprenticeship I had little to no knowledge of how a car works. since starting my apprenticeship I have learnt how to use Mercedes-Benz parts systems and how a vehicle operates. How parts function in the vehicle and how they work together in order for the vehicle to work.

In my apprenticeship I visit the apprentice academy 7 times a year for the duration of a week, which I find better.
