I manage a portfolio of fraud investigation services contracts, capturing risks, resolving issues, advising staff, and recording SLAs. I maximise value for money in the management of contracts by driving continuous improvement, liaising with stakeholders, updating assurance documents, and monitoring Management Information.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme included interesting learning but was very admin heavy. The End Point Assessment added little value to my work or learning.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt about the procurement cycle and how to manage a contract effectively. I have learnt how to use different software like Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint to enhance my efficiency and empower my team.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

There were lots of new tutors with varying degrees of experience. The structure was provided by the exams which were at set times throughout the year.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager supported my learning a lot.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Very little - the tutors changed frequently and the content provided was repetitive. Reading the guides provided was more productive.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It is a useful qualification and has made me more knowledgeable about the procurement cycle. However, not everything covered was useful for my role.

Yes, lots of sports and some networking events but there could be more of the latter.
