I am an Inspector so ordinarily out in the field I would respond to reports of animal cruelty and neglect. I have been seconded to a Workload Management Team to assess incidents remotely and deal or progress them to alleviate field pressure, also to assess procedural compliance

5/5
I have learnt a wealth of new skills and developed my existing skills also. Extremely beneficial

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme on the whole is well organised, there are a few issues in timings with workshops being several weeks if not longer after the actual topic area has been studied, which isn't overly helpful but the rest of the course is well structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a great deal of support form my employer - my apprenticeship study hours are honoured and if I need more time or any assistance my line manager is happy to accomodate. They attend all required reviews with my course tutor and are willing to get involved in order to make my journey easier.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I have received sufficient support throughout and I must say my tutor has been very helpful. I feel comfortable with approaching him if i require any help or guidance and I know he will be happy to help in any way he can
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The course has definitely helped me perform better in my role - i have learnt a wealth of information and can apply a lot of it to my daily role. I continue to learn and apply my new found knowledge whenever I can.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are numerous charity events that staff can get involved with.
