I work in trade marketing and focus on internal events, working with various stakeholders across genres and creative teams, and work on two main trade events every year.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy the work side of the programme, however I find the apprenticeship work harder to engage with and slightly disorganised
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a variety of new skills: Microsoft office skills, cross-collaboration, stakeholder management, CRM, project management and time management

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My work and team are incredible organised and structured. The apprenticeship programme itself is slightly disorganised and I have not always got the support from JGA/ Early careers that I have asked for
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a great deal of support and guidance from my employer, both with my apprenticeship and my day to day JOB
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive some support when directly asked for. I find the resources are often outdated (e.g. articles from 2015), resources are hard to find, information hard to find and the tasks are often worded poorly and unclear.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that the qualification is too heavily focused on customer facing marketing roles. I work in a business facing area of marketing and often find it difficult to match my role to my qualification

Be your authentic self when interviewing, draw on any previous job or life experience to support in your interviews and do your research on the company and interview techniques
