Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role as a duty manager is to manage the shift on a day to day basis and to make sure everything runs smoothly. I need to ensure that everyone knows what there doing and how to achieve it
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed it so far and have learnt alot about myself too. This programme has helped me to get far in my career

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to deal with guests in a calm manner and to think quick in situations that occur.

There is a good structure in place which i like and helps me understand what i need to do
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I do receive a lot of support and i will ask questions if i get stuck with anything or to get adive on any tasks that im not familiar with. Although i do try to do it myself firsr if i can
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training is lovely and has helped me alot. She does encourage me to keep going and ensures me that i will make it to the end and hopfeully progress to level 3
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Everything that i have learnt so far, i have adapted it to my job role whether it being something ive read or something i have watched i will use all knowledge ive gained to my advantage
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I went to the whitbread party back february this year. There was a 2 hour conference to sit through and it was really intresting to hear how various people got to where they are now. It made me think that i could get quite far in premier inn. I just need to work hard so i can achieve these goals
