Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I would prep for what pod I was running for the day then would basically solo run it during service with occasional help from a chef if I needed things restocked. Before that I used to do omelettes and jacket potatoes daily for 9 months.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Its so so I enjoyed the people and many things I've learnt but I kinda hate my workplace

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've become better at making omelettes, my cutting skills are faster, my multitasking has improved, I can butterfly chicken smoothly now as well as bread it, my ability to season food has improved, my ability to deal with stress is better, and I can work hard whilst ignoring hunger.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It felt like what it was witch is a new building with no procedures in place just winging it overall though mostly smooth I guess
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They let me go to college and the sous chef gives me tips/ detailed advice when I ask. I do have a lovely talk with a guy called [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] once a month though that helps.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They taught me well and when I ask help me where they can.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Why?
It seems very appearance focused just to make the big wigs happy as well as management will claim to want feedback/ input but then given you get radio silence.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Compass group?
Make sure the sites management it good.
