I think it’s by all accounts the best job that I’ve ever had and always look forward to go to work.

5/5
I’ve learned a lot about myself. But also learned valuable skills such as teamwork, data analysis, and developing my communication skills everyday as we work in a close team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I think it’s a very well structured plan as it balances college and on the job experience very well, allowing for valuable time in the field while also allowing for more in depth knowledge to be earned in the classroom.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support from the employer as they treat me like they would any full time member of the team. Always making sure that I have everything that I need and also if I need any support it’s always available.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The training provider is always making sure that we are up to date with our work, and also ensures that if we are behind on anything that we can get the support we need to catch up.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel the qualification is crucial for progression and an overall better understand of the water industry. It allows me to understand why things work the way they do and also what things could potentially cause issues within the assets and the process.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
They is always plenty of opportunities to get involved with. I’ve been apart of different activities such as team building exercises up at Kielder waterside.
