Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Caseworker for UK visa and Immigration. My role is to review decisions made by caseworkers and respond to either agree or concede.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I had very good coaches from Damar who were instrumental to me completing a distinction. The workload was manageable and I enjoyed completing every module within timescales.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The course has taught me so much, I have new skills with Excel and PowerPoint as well as learning more about my own abilities to get things done
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure was brilliant, set out in manageable sections and clear instructions for each module. The Home Office also provided me with specific time each week to carry this out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer was great with this apprenticeship. Although he only took over when I was almost finished the course, his support was invaluable.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Damar was incredible. They had on hand support with coaches as well as suggested videos on platforms that could aid and assist with my modules.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification will give me confidence in my own abilities and encourage me to apply for higher roles.

Great home/life balance and flexible working. There is a community feel to the office and it is a positive environment.
