Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

This apprenticeship programme that was designed by technicians in the company who now teach said course, is really informative, knowledgeable, and a great stepping stone into a massive industry. After completing three months at the technical academy, where you learn the basics. You go out into the field with a dedicated coach who shows you what ot means to be a Refrigeration engineer, and an engineer for MCFT.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I extremely enjoy the programme that I was lucky enough to earn a place in out of fifty others. The job is very hands on, which I really enjoy, and there's always someone to help you if you're not sure or need further explanation or demonstration of something.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've further improved my electrical knowledge and capability to install an array of electrical components. I have also learnt a vast mechanical knowledge and understanding for Refrigeration systems that I knew nothing of before.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well situated, and the pace it's taught is tailored for everyone's needs.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I recieve support from multiple areas, being the instructors at the technical academy, my coach and team leader in the field, and the colleagues in the office if I ever come across and problems or need more information.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
We attend the technical academy once every two months, and the programme is taught so we're always working towards our qualifications. We're also given dedicated time on a Friday to complete work from the week.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

All of the knowledge I've learned is tailored to support me and afford me the ability to perform my role confidently and safely.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The company is always arranging events such as golf, shooting, comedy nights, and even trips to other countries that the company has expanded in.
