I work at the Visitors Centre Bar where we cater for the public, staff at the brewery and host functions and events, as well as brewery tours.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the classes, the coursework is hard work but fulfilling.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve learnt how to manage my time, as well as many skills around managing a team and gaining confidence in my role.

The programme is well thought through and has a good balance of educational and fun activities.

I am pretty capable and enjoy doing the work on my own, but I know that if I need assistance that I can ask for it.

My tutors at Truro College are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to ensure we have the tools and information we need to do well, I can message either one at any time and will receive their undivided attention.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are lots of events and activities to get involved with through Thrive, there is a brewery choir and there are several football events during the year.
