Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I'm a FOH Receptionist that mainly does evenings but some mornings and lot of check ins and dealing with guest. Due to budget issues I help with BOH work each shift.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme if fine I'm not a fan of studying so it's long but I've got good support and on quite days I can get the work done quickly.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Communication skills have improved somewhat. Operating of Opera, bart, excel, ect... if we talking about the apprenticeship then I've dove deeper into the works of the company.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well the aptem system is simple and easy to use.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I don't get the extra hour/hours to work on it (id rather not as i know id just come in to do more work) but in all other aspects if I ask I'll have full support but I've not had to ask other then the off the job hours.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Ive not needed to speak to him much but from the monthly meetings I've found him easy to understand and any questions I do have its always cleared up after speaking to him.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It seems more relevant for the position above me but not much for my exact role.

Would you recommend Whitbread plc to a friend?

Why?
My friend group have different interests that won't go well with whitbread. Also I don't really like it here. No opportunity to move up.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Whitbread plc?
Look for a large site if you want to progress. There may be opportunities there. Also only do it if u really have a passion for it.
