To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

To much loading, not enough hands on driver training. My programme was not very enjoyable.

Put on a 10 day HGV driving course.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Not well organised or structured. A GTG trainer came on site for five visits we got a few days notice when he was coming but did not know what he was going to do. We also went out with drivers but again just days notice.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Very little support from employer. I loaded lorries for 9-10 months then passed a 10 day HGV driver course. That was pretty much my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Training provider was good. He presented the course well and assisted me in answering the relevant questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification gives a good understanding of the day to day requirements of a driver and that will definitely help me in my new role.
