To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme. The training has provided great insight into the field, and I have learned so much that I never knew before. The experiences and knowledge gained have been incredibly valuable and have significantly contributed to my professional growth.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learned several new skills and developed existing ones during my apprenticeship. I gained a deeper understanding of the business and my field, which allowed me to take on more responsibilities. Working with both internal and external stakeholders helped me improve my communication and collaboration skills. Additionally, the diverse experiences I encountered have enhanced my problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme was well-organized and structured. Both my tutor and manager were very encouraging throughout the process. Although the training was conducted entirely online, I would have preferred to meet someone in person. However, this did not impact my overall experience negatively.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received great support from my manager, who was always helpful and encouraging. While some team members were occasionally busy with their own work, they did their best to assist whenever possible. Overall, the support from my employer has been positive and beneficial to my development.

Would you recommend EMR to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I would recommend EMR to a friend because I appreciate the department culture. However, I can only speak for my department, as other areas of the business might have different experiences. My manager is very understanding and flexible, and I feel that they genuinely care for me and I am not just a number.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EMR?
If you are applying for an apprenticeship at EMR, research how to excel in assessment centre and interviews. Attend industry events in your field to gain insights and network. Consider reaching out to EMR for work experience opportunities to meet potential colleagues and understand the work environment. If you are not successful initially, dont let that discourage you—keep trying and stay motivated!
