Job role wasn't available on the drop down box: I am a brewer with lab work occasionally, It involves different areas of brewing beer and ensuring a high quality product during my shift.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Every week is different, there is always something to do and work towards with plenty of help available. The job is interesting and the industry is forever changing, meaning we always adapt and change. The job is enjoyable and fulfilling

Countless new skill including confidence in my ability, communication skills, teamwork and perseverance, Whilst also training my knowledge in the brewing industry

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Well organised, university trips are well planned and managed and the coursework is very manageable inbetween trips with help available all the time. Even with our shifts the course is well worked around them
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is a lot of support from everyone at my brewery, from a wide rage of experiences and degrees. I find it rare to be stuck on something as someone will always know and assist with any problems
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Regular check ups and professional discussions are great at seeing where I am in terms of coursework and understanding and offer great help on weaker areas.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It's been the best employer I have been to, I'm well looked after in terms of salary for my age and benefits the company offers me. Work relationships are great and they always give time for any issues regarding physical or mental health.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to St Austell Brewery?
It builds stronger people, be prepared to change and learn ways of approaching work and problems. It can be tough at times but there is always support as long as you are willing to put the time and effort in. The shifts can also be tough
