My role involves the in-house management of a caseload of several hundred personal injury claims as well as preparing performance reports for the Department.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The off the job training is a good combination of study days provided over Microsoft Teams as well as self-directed study. This helps me to achieve a good work/study balance.

The Level 3 Data Essentials Apprenticeship i am undertaking has helped develop my data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured with a clearly set out timetable for study days and self-directed study. There are also plenty of good resources available to practice Microsoft Excel skills as well as brush up on maths and english functional skills.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very supportive of the apprenticeship that i'm undertaking, providing me with the required off the job training time every week and supporting and encouraging me to develop and use the skills i have learnt so far.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider has been very good in helping me to work towards my apprenticeship. The tutors can be contacted easily, personal suppport and the revision sessions for functional skills is second to none.
