Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
During the week I took part in teams calls from each department, an ESG assessed presentation, a TC interview, departmental work and socials.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I really enjoyed getting to know Gateley from the inside. The week was well-rounded and provided great exposure to all sorts of aspects of the Gateley Group.

I have developed my confidence and attention to detail during the week through the tasks I have been allocated.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I found the culture and general atmosphere to be very welcoming and supportive. In particular, the CDR department team and the trainees were very positive and encouraging.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed my vacation scheme. I found everyone was very supportive and willing to help in order for you to make the most out of the scheme. The only thing I would change is giving more opportunity for networking within the office as the number of calls mixed with the work you get from department makes networking sightly difficult.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Gateley
I would advise them to make the most out of the scheme. I would recommend attending any social events that come sup in addition to the planned trainee social so that you get to see the social aspect of the firm and get to hear from the trainees in a more informal setting. I would also recommend getting to know your trainee mentor well as they are there to help you.
