Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
First, when starting the apprenticeship I completed various training programs involving health and safety and the uses of MHE. I trained and shadowed experienced workers until I was confident to work on my own. Every few months I was given different roles in the warehouse to learn and experience such as learning to do logistics, picking and many more. Throughout the week me and my manager picked days specifically for days to work through all the apprenticeship course work. Due to be on top of my course I was able to do a lot more practical work such as pick and clean where I cleaned the aisles and maintained a safe working environment and picked a few orders, so balancing two roles.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoyed it very much due to working in a job with simple tasks that I can confidently manage in also to learn about different areas of the warehouse is interesting.

My manager and I always communicated to ensure I had time to work through course work as to work on the aisle. The process is simple and easy when you put the effort in.

4/5
Lots as if I needed to do something involving Off the Job Training then the employers would organize a time for me to complete the task.

4/5
Quite a bit as she informed me of lots of information that I needed to know to be able to proceed and prepare for future events.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I can now learn more roles in the warehouse making me more reliable if needed.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
