Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Learn how to become a refrigeration technician in the field, visiting multiple sites to assist my coach on call outs remedial and PPMs and also starting to go out and do some jobs on my own.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy being out in the field on the job, I enjoy being tasked with a job and being allowed the freedom to figure it out on my own while being monitored by my coach with very minimal input unless he sees something that could go wrong.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Came Into the industy with 0 knowledge, but now I have started to develope and starting to feel confident even though I'm still new into the industry.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I feel overall it is pretty well structured and organised. There is areas which are currently being improved by the company as we go along which the company are always looking for ways to improve the program
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Personally I don't receive much support because I do not feel like I need itat this stage but when I do need support I know who to contact and who to speak to to get what ever support is needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We visit our training centre every couple of months for training and when we are there we get all the support needed aswell as in the field we can contact if we need extra support
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

We learn more indepeth at the training academy and then refine and practice what we have learnt with out coaches out in the field to help us perform better
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The company put on trips to dubai every year and also always promoting sports activity's whether that be engineers who organise it or the company who organise it. The company always help promote this by offering to cover the costs of events to help more people attend. The company also encourages regions to gather and have team meals with the CEO.

Why?
I would recommend mcft due to the success I have had within my first 9 month of being employed by them, I enjoy my job, I enjoy the people I work with and enjoy the customers we work for.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MCFT?
Be prepared to get stuck in. There is always something to learn, always ask lots of questions and never be afraid to get hands on as I find this is the best way to learn. It can be difficult at times but very fun
