Maintenance of the flow of the salon, laundry, washing up, shanpooing clients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy meeting new people and doing round brush blow dried. I like both cut and colour because I find both interesting in different ways.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Customer service like booking in and talking to clients. New skills that I have started being a hairdresser for example blow drying along with some cut and colour techniques.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have training session twice a week and I have nvq sessions twice a month. This help me keep up to date with all my work,
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They’re in the salon all the time so if I was to need anything they are there to ask and they support me a lot.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have a lot of attention from my trainers and I can ask them anything even when it’s not a training session. I can always ask questions knowing someone will be there to help me
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me have a better connection with the clients and I feel like I can perform better with the basic understanding of hairdressing

We often have team bonding events which allows me to spend time with people I don’t always talk to in work hours
