Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am an apprentice I help keep the salon up to together via laundry mainteance, washing up, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, cleaning section, keeping basins tidy.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The training is very throughly spoken about everyone has good patience for when I don’t understand straight away. There always willing to help whenever I need it.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have become more confident with clients and understanding the needs. Learning different cutting and colour techniques, understanding/ working on the salon floor

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have NVQ session twice a month and I am guaranteed a training session twice a week 8h in total. Myslef and my trainers know what module I am on

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a lot of support from my employer they are always willing to help me and understand anything I’m struggling with

I have 1-3 training session I can have a a lot of attention whilst in my training session and always willing to help if I need it

I have an understanding the salon works and the flow of the salon. And I feel I can look after clients better with an understanding.
