Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I act as an Assistant QS currently working onsite at Marple Community Hub a circa 20 million pound project, I am currently placing and managing works packages onsite, I contribute to the monthly commercial reports and deal with day to day queries. I am responsible for all commercial tasks in relation to my packages.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Yes, I am constantly learning new skills and developing on a daily basis as almost everything is either new to me or something I am continually developing.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured and there is a clear plan in place on how I will develop as I progress through the 5 years.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive as much support as I need, there are 3 designated people I can go to on a daily basis, my Line Manager, Mentor and Buddy. Using the relationships I have formed since being at Willmott Dixon I can reach out to the wider business when needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have quarterly meetings set up with a designated Degree Apprenticeship Co-ordinator and can speak to or email my lecturers when required.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I can relate the theory learning to my day to day role. It is very useful as I get to see both sides and can refer to both to aid my learning.
