Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I use data collected from our internal systems to identify trends and help patient flow. I present the data at weekly meetings to each division, explain what the data is saying and discuss what may be causing the trends. I am also supporting the project to digitalise the data we collect by creating interim measures that the Trust can use to help support the transition period and identify what information is needed and how we currently collect it.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
It was enjoyable, i learnt a lot of new skills and techniques and the format was accessible and engaging.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I am continually learning new skills and ways to present data in an accessible and informative way. This includes using programs such as PowerBi and different visuals to make the data as clear as possible

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme was well structured and clear but when I deviated from the plan it was difficult to get any meaningful alternative from the course provider. For example one section was on a skill i already used regularly and the additional work was just to repeat the work we had done earlier in the module, when i asked for some alternative work to do there wasn't any alternative despite being told at the intro meeting that they would be able to provide alternative work if needed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer was very supportive and gave me time to complete the modules during my work time and my line manager always supported me and asked how i was getting on with the course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I had regular meetings with the training providers, i didn't need any additional support whilst completing the portfolio.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think the qualification has helped me by giving me more confidence in explaining data and being able to link up one set of information with another and explain the connections. The techniques I learnt on the course have made me more efficient and enabled me to work on more complex data sets.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are a number of groups that run and they often promote social events
