Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
Executive Assistance: Supporting the management team and Executive Assistants with high-priority tasks, such as managing director calendars, drafting meeting agendas, and professionally preparing documents.
Office Operations: Acting as a point of contact for office logistics, including reporting IT issues and coordinating facility requests like office relocations and confidential waste disposal.
Communication: Managing incoming post and handling telephone enquiries, which ranges from general internal queries to assisting with patient complaints.
Data & Reporting: Assisting with data entry and producing metrics reports using Microsoft Office to support the team’s digital readiness.
Professional Development: Attending structured theory sessions and learning specialized skills, such as minute-taking, to fulfill the requirements of the Level 3 Apprenticeship framework.

Exceptional Support: The team is approachable and highly supportive, creating a welcoming environment that makes my day-to-day work enjoyable.
Structured Learning: Management has a clear understanding of my Level 3 Apprenticeship requirements. They actively assign tasks that directly relate to my educational framework, ensuring my work is relevant to my qualification.
Opportunities for Growth: I am frequently given opportunities to learn new specialized skills, such as minute-taking and data reporting, while maintaining a steady flow of routine administrative tasks.
Balanced Workload: The programme offers a great balance between performing essential operational duties and engaging in new learning experiences that fulfill my professional development needs.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: I have developed the ability to handle professional telephone enquiries and interact with a wide range of internal and external customers.
Calendar & Meeting Management: I have learned to manage complex director calendars and am developing specialized skills in drafting agendas and taking formal meeting minutes.
Digital Literacy & IT Skills: I have improved my proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, specifically using Word and Excel for data entry, retrieval, and metrics reporting.
Operational Administration: I have mastered essential office tasks, including the maintenance of both manual and electronic filing systems, managing post, and coordinating facility-related requests.
Professional Standards: I have gained a strong understanding of working within a regulated environment, following Trust policies regarding health, safety, and information security.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
Clear Supervision: I am managed by the Department Manager and receive day-to-day supervision from a designated person within the department.
Educational Support: I have a dedicated Apprentice Coordinator who manages my reviews and oversees my education to ensure I am on track.
Defined Progression: The programme is structured to help me work toward the identified educational framework for a Level 3 Apprenticeship through a mix of practical work and structured teaching/theory sessions.
