Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is to provide children with quality care and education, supporting each prime and specific area of development following the EYFS. This involves setting up and providing the children with learning experiences and activities, as well as carrying out personal care routines.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship, I have felt supported and believed in throughout the course and all my questions have been answered without hesitation. I have enjoyed learning on the job as well as in study time as I believe this has encouraged me to implement my learning into my practice with ease!
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of new skills, including children's basic needs in line with theorists and legislation, and how to implement this into my practice. I have also developed my skills in professionalism and how to handle challenges and set backs efficiently and professionally.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship is well organised with clear instructions and amazing support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive continuous support from my employer, they are consistently checking in to see how I am getting on and are always willing to answer my questions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is always keen to support me through answering my questions and taking a closer look at assessments and coursework with me when I need it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification has given me the confidence I needed to perform better in my role, I have been able to implement my knowledge into my practice which has benefitted my performance.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, my work provide a range of team building and company events such as a summer festival and sports day!
