Being an apprentice involves professional training which will need to be practiced at home, when working in a salon you have to be able to communicate, keeping the salon presentable and knowing how to time keep effectively.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it as if it were my life because doing hair is what I love to do and seeing my team in sloane square do some many unique styles makes me enjoy it even more.

I have learnt a handful of things during this apprenticeship training and in the sloane square salon.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured. Example, everyone will have a set day for them to be in the academy and train.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has made me comfortable enough to talk to them if I ever need help or need something explaining to me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Because I lack confidence in quite a few skills that are involved in the apprenticeship getting my qualification allows me to feel more comfortable in being able to do them skills.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. For example, there is an assistant competition coming up and my team, which is sloane square salon, boost your confidence to believe that you can do do that event.

Not only do you get you’re qualifications, you’re able to meet new people and be invited to many events that can help you improve.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Toni & Guy?
Never be scared, everyone is there to support and congratulate you on your work and skills even in the salon, which is one of the reasons why I love working in sloane square.
