Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Picking up job vacancies and checking they have financial approval to recruit. This also involves checking the advert and the job and person profile. In some cases it involves putting the jobs out to advert.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my programme as I was able to learn all about business administration which I had previously had no exposure of. I learnt about budgeting, invoices and what it takes to run a good business.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I was able to improve my time management skills as I was balancing my apprenticeship and day-to-day role. This also improved my confidence as I was speaking to new people to ensure I was meeting the contents of my apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme was very well organised as I was given the right allocated time every week to complete my apprenticeship work and my team were very respectful of this time.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I recieved a lot of support from my employer as I was given all the opportunities in the workplace to ensure I met all the requirements of my apprenticeship. My team allowed me to shadow other teams to also help my development.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received a lot of support from my training provider. They helped me if I needed guidance on where to start with my assignments and if I needed any further support. They also helped give me ideas as to what I needed to do before I could go through to gateway.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The connections I made in my organisation whilst completing my qualification has enabled me to get involved in different projects. It has improved my confidence in speaking to hiring managers about their jobs.

They are incredibly supportive and do all they can to help you succeed. I really enjoy working there and will be looking to do another apprenticeship in the future.
