Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Team leader to a team of Recruitment Advisors and Administrators, providing day-to-day line management support, advice and guidance. Managing senior-level, complex and hard to fill recruitment campaigns. Holding a portfolio of recruitment-related projects.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I'm really enjoying my apprenticeship. It has allowed me to gain new skills and develop existing ones, which has in turn increased my confident as an HR professional. I've been able to continuously improve and apply these skills in my role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

During my apprenticeship, I have developed my skills in recruitment, wider HR, communication, policy interpretation and continuous improvement. These skills have enhanced my ability to manage recruitment processes, work more effectively with other HR teams and provide better HR support to the organisation.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship has been very well organised and structured, allowing me to focus on my learning. I was provided with a clear plan at the start which has been easy to follow throughout.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive endless support from my employer, including my direct line manager, our early careers team and th wider HR service. I'm provided with endless opportunities to learn and develop.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I couldn't have received more support from my tutor. We have regular one-to-ones with personal feedback, and I'm always able to reach out for support when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This knowledge and skills I have learnt from my apprenticeship has been invaluable. It's developed my confidence as an HR professional.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
