Shampooing clients, Cleaning salon floor, laundry, Taking off colour, Training on cuts or colour, reception booking clients, taking payments, checking in clients
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It could have gone alot better the majority of the time i have had to train myself on most cuts and colours.

yes i have learnt how to take care of clients as well as how to cut and colour hair

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The assessment side of the programme is very well structured but when it comes to training in salon theres no structure and most of the time you train yourself
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Not as much as i should. I am now running behind on my apprenticeship because i havent had the support to train and the support to do assessments
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support from my training provider is better then my employer and they understand that i am running behind and are helping me book assessments whenever possible
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it helps alot we learnt health and safety through them as well as how to look after clients and general safety

Would you recommend Toni & Guy to a friend?
No
Why?
I would recommend other salons but not the salon i work at their care for apprentices and how they train the apprentices should be a lot better. We shouldnt be left to train ourselves
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Toni & Guy?
Make sure that your employer has a scheduled learning structure otherwise you will learn nothing
