Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The scheme offered a blend of talks on practice areas and time working in the department. We also worked on a group project, which we presented at the end of the week. Alongside this, we had socials and other informal sessions.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The scheme provided me with exposure to the practical daily tasks of trainees. As well as being set tasks in my seat, I gained an insight into the other practice areas through the talks.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Through the tasks set, I have learned the value of being meticulous, and the importance of careful analysis and research. I developed my ability to work with a team in the group exercise. The ESG task also helped me to think about how firms develop new responsible business initiatives.

Everyone was very supportive and welcoming. They were all keen to answer questions and ensure you got the most out of the scheme.
