Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
I work within an ongoing CRM project. Within my role I work with internal and external stakeholders across to gather requirements and insights on ways of working ultimately, creating a new CRM system.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
I enjoy learning so was happy to take part in the apprenticeship. I got on well with my coach as we both had a keen interest in psychology. Much of the content was interesting and relatable to my daily role. However, time constraints within my role and the length of the course meant that the course became less enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
The apprenticeship provided theory across all aspects of people and project management. Some of the theory learnt was new information, whilst other elements were more of a refresher.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The program is well structured with clear deadlines and goals. My coach was clear at explaining other less structured elements such as the live learning courses. The only confusion was around the expectations of the final assessment. This was explained quite late, and lead to a rush at the end of the course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My line manager was supportive and would ask for an update on my progress in each of our catch ups.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
The only interaction I had with the training provider was through my coach who was very supportive. He was available on email as needed, and put in extra catch ups if required.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I think the course increased my knowledge around behavioural nuances, working with stakeholders, and project management. This was useful especially as I changed roles part way through the course.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Audley is a very sociable company, organising regular events which I attend. We do have sporting teams, but this is not something I am involved in.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Audley Travel to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Audley has a good culture around learning and development and strives to provide more and more opportunities to do so. As always, it is a balance between taking advantage of these learning opportunities and completing your day job. However, this is a consideration in any business apprenticeship. I think Audley is a fun and inclusive place to work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Audley Travel?
Have a clear goal in mind, why are you wanting to complete the course.
Ensure you have enough time to complete the work expected based on your speed of working and other commitments.
