As a selector/picker, my primary responsibility is to accurately and efficiently select and prepare items for shipment or delivery, based on store orders. This role is crucial in ensuring that the supply chain runs smoothly and that stores receive the correct products on time.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying the programmed - it’s helped me grow in confidence and given me a better understanding of leadership. I like learning new things and it’s been great connecting with others on the same journey.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I’ve developed my confidence and communication skills, especially when working with others and speaking up in team settings. I’ve also learned how to manage my time better and take more responsibility, which has helped me grow both personally and professionally.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured, with clear goals and support throughout. Its just needed more support at work on applying skills in real situations. It will help me stay on track and understand what’s expected at each stage.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is supportive and encourages my development. Although I haven’t had many chances to apply my new skills in real work situations yet, they are aware of this and steps are being taken to create more opportunities, which I appreciate.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive good support from my training provider. They’re always available to answer questions, give feedback, and guide me through the assignments need to be done. Their support makes it easier to stay on track and feel confident in what I’m learning.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification is helping me perform better by improving my confidence, communication, and understanding of leadership. I’m learning how to handle situations more professionally and make better decisions at work, which is already making a positive difference in my role.
